For this project, I designed a comprehensive Developer Portal for Movement, a company pioneering the development of an open-source blockchain programming language called Move. The portal was created to provide developers with all the resources they need to understand, learn, and get started with the Move language, acting as a central hub for documentation, tutorials, guides, and other learning tools. My role in the project encompassed everything from structuring the information hierarchy to wireframing and visual mockups. I ensured that the portal’s layout was intuitive and user-friendly, making it easy for developers to find the information they needed quickly. I focused on creating a seamless flow of content while also ensuring that the portal’s design aligned with Movement's overarching brand and identity. The visual language of the portal was sleek, modern, and dynamic, building upon and expanding Movement's existing visual library. I aimed to reflect the innovation and technical sophistication of the blockchain industry while keeping the design approachable and accessible for developers of all skill levels. Working closely with Movement's Art Director, Zhen Lu, I incorporated thoughtful design elements that would strengthen the brand’s identity while ensuring the portal was both functional and visually compelling. Overall, this Developer Portal was crafted to not only deliver information but also to enhance the developer experience, fostering a supportive community around the Move language. The design was focused on usability, clarity, and scalability to accommodate the future growth of the Move ecosystem.
